  Thomas house is an iconic diner in Dayton. The mornings are filled with farmers and veterinarians chatting it up. Lunch is everything from construction workers to lawyers in suits. Dinner is families and couples enjoying a great home cooked meal.
  
  Food is exactly what you expect. 5 or 6 entrees with your choice of sides and there are regularly a dozen or more to choose from. This makes decisions difficult particularly if you are going to try and squeeze in dessert. Good luck with these portion sizes. It's worth it to at least split a piece of peanut butter pie.

  Quality of food was great. Cafeteria style ordering, grab a tray and go down the line and place your order. Pricing was fair. Dessert was good. Don't let the outside or looks of the building fool you... older style setting, but food was worth the visit.
